The JB journeys: The comfort of feasts

If there’s one thing that can make the heart of any Malaysian sing, it’d be food.

Easily available at affordable prices and with a wide range of delectable choices,  it is a quick fix which gets us by even the most daunting of circumstances.

And more so for Chinese,  I believe. A common greeting between fellow Chinese is to ask if the other person has eaten. And to be on the chubby side is considered a good thing as it is interpreted as being prosperous.

So here we are, indulging in these typical entrappings, in the heart of JB.

Food for comfort. And for strength too, to face whatever it is that lurks out there waiting for us.
